We like to help the children to celebrate their birthdays in school, so the week of their birthday (unless it falls in a holiday), the children are invited to come up to the front in assembly and everyone sings happy birthday to them.  They also get to blow out the candles on our cake.  The children are presented with a Galley Common gift to take home.
